CITY OF TSWHANE: Cycling South Africa Licensing 2023 Update

Information for the notice of 2023 Licensing:

Licensing applications for the 2023 season has opened online via: https://www.cyclingsa-events.co.za/app_v2/

Should any rider purchase a 2022 racing license from now to end of December 2022, we will automatically convert the rider’s 2022 racing license to a 2023 racing license from 1st January 2023.

This category of license is for riders from the age of 17 years old who wish to be eligible for provincial and national selection and respective colours award. The bearer of a full license is entitled to partake in national championship or series race and be seeded accordingly. Those of who race in the UCI categories (Junior, U23 and Elite) earn UCI points which will assist them in being seeded at future UCI category events, world cups and championships.
The cost of a domestic racing license is an additional R500 per year, and the applicant MUST be member of an affiliated club, as well as be a registered member of Cycling SA.

Domestic Racing Licenses are valid for a calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December) each year. Cycling SA membership is valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Riders need to ensure that their Cycling SA membership remains active in order for their domestic racing license to remain valid.
